We first met at our gym and were friends for a while. We started dating about 1 year into our friendship, and then dated for 3 years. Jack planned a weekend in Manhattan with hotel reservations at Dream Hotel and a visit to the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center. On the evening of December 11, 2004 in front of the Tree and hundreds of people, Jack proposed to me. - Sonia
We wanted our wedding to be truly unique. Since we both work in the wedding industry, we have seen and experienced traditional weddings so our vision for our wedding was non-traditional. We are casual, fun people who love having lots of friends and family around and was to PARTY!!! Our decor for the reception was "loung-like" feel with the colors, decorations and music. Almost all 300 guests danced and stayed to the end at 2:00 am! We wrote our own vows and readings which expressed our deepest feelings. Our wedding was truly a representation of the two of us, our family and friends.
