When Alyssa and Daniel began searching for the perfect facility to host their ceremony and reception, they knew they wanted a location that was different and unique to each of their personalities. Studio Square, a converted event space in Manhattan, turned out to be exactly what these two beer and wine enthusiasts were looking for. “Daniel and I both have a passion for the beer and wine, and this place really felt right. They have a beautiful roof terrace with views of Manhattan,” the bride commented.

The Proposal: In 2012 Daniel and I went on a cruise out of Miami to the Caribbean, the first night we were there I was reading the material they leave in the cabin and it said that the sunrise was at 6:23am in the morning, we both agreed to try and get up to see it. That morning Daniel woke me up but when I looked out the window it was cloudy, he insisted that we go up on deck anyway, so we did. I set up the camera to take a photo of us in front of the cloudy sunset. After one photo was taken Daniel asked if I could set up one more, so I did and when I ran back to stand with him he got down on one knee and proposed and at that same moment the camera flashed!
Bride’s favorite memory of the day: I remember being on the dance floor with Daniel and everyone surrounding us, all dancing to amazing music and I was thinking this could not of worked out better.
Groom’s favorite memory of the day: How happy Alyssa was before and after she said “I do.”
Advice for engaged couples who are planning their wedding: Don’t settle on something because of your budget, give yourself enough time to save and do it right, your dream wedding will only happen once.
