With all of the cold weather we’ve been having, Contemporary Bride thought we would warm your day up with nautical themed wedding inspirations. From the invitations, ceremony, wedding pictures on the beach, to the reception dccor, there are many ways to create a seaside celebration. Request the presence of your guests to attend your special day with invitations that give a glimpse of your theme. Embellish stationary in navy blue or turquoise and use symbols such as anchors or seashells to indicate a nautical or beach celebration. Tie tags around starfish indicating seating arrangements for the reception and top your tables with colored linens, simple white floral centerpieces, and lanterns for a romantic ambiance.

A yellow wedding color scheme is a wonderful choice for any marriage celebration. And why not? Yellow can be bright and sunny or deep golden and warm. It's a really great color that works well in all seasons. In spring, a pale yellow brings images of warmth and new growth; a time for new beginnings. A brighter yellow works well in summer when nature is vibrant and in full bloom. During the fall and winter months, deeper shades of yellow and gold are perfect choices to team up with the deep, darker colors of these seasons.

Couple to Tie the Knot Tomorrow at Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights

The winners of Universal Orlando Resort’s first-ever Halloween Horror Nights Wedding contest will “tie the noose” tomorrow at Halloween Horror Nights XX. The wedding will take place at one of Halloween Horror Night’s eight haunted houses. Cold fog and the sounds of an eerie bridal march will fill the air as the bride walks down the aisle to meet her groom. Frightening scareactors will lurk throughout the ceremony as the couple exchanges their vows. Once they are announced husband and wife, they will board a hearse and ride to the wedding reception, where everyone will enjoy a three-tier cake decorated with spider webs and a skull cake topper.
