For a Christmas gift from her boss, Cailin was given an all-expense paid trip for two to Paris, France. After four months of planning of all of the things Cailin and Michael would do within one week, the two were on their way. While on the plane, Michael asked Cailin what she was looking forward to most in Paris and without hesitation she responded, the Eiffel Tower. As they were taking in the view, Michael proposed, and Cailin delightfully accepted. The engaged couple are set to tie the knot on April 21, 2012 at The Vanderbilt at South Beach.

Emil from Contemporary Image recently met Jillian and Chris at Hoboken Train Station for their engagement session. The couple was looking for a location that had an urban and vintage look, and additionally, Hoboken is an area in New Jersey where they often spend time. Jillian and Chris are planning to get married on October 3, 2012 at Grand Cascades Lodge, Crystal Springs Resort or Ballyowen Golf Course.

It was on their seven year anniversary of Ruth and Samuel’s friendship that marked a new milestone for the two to cherish. Samuel picked Ruth up from her home and first surprised her with seven yellow carnations; each one representing a year that their friendship has lasted. The two went to a church service and immediately after headed to the location they had their first date- The Promenade. “After being whisked away from early morning to having ice cream at our special location, I figured nothing could top such a wonderful experience,” reminisced Ruth. When the couple arrived to a friend’s house for an anniversary dinner Ruth was not only surprised to see those who are special in their lives there to celebrate, but a marriage proposal. “I couldn’t have been happier at that very moment and was stepping into a new phase of my life while being surrounded by a few of the people that I love the most,” Ruth shared. The engaged couple plan to wed on December 20, 2012 at Jericho Terrace.

Nicole and Billy were traveling to Kenebunkport, Maine for what Nicole thought was to enjoy a long weekend getaway. The two spent their first day at Goose Rock Beach where they enjoyed relaxing and watching the waves. After getting up to get wine, Billy returned, got down on one knee and proposed. Nicole reminisced, “It was the greatest moment of my life!” The newly engaged couple is set to tie the knot on July 7, 2012 at The Rockleigh.

When Nicholas asked Amanda to request July 22, 2011 off from work to celebrate their second official “us” day, she was a little skeptical. Little did she know, Nicholas had been planning to surprise Amanda. The two began their Friday morning bright and early and headed to Long Island for horseback riding. As they ventured out to the Long Island Sound and after finally reaching the beach, their tour guide instructed Amanda and Nicholas to get off of their horses, take a few pictures, and to cool off in the water. As they were capturing the beautiful scenery in photographs, Nicholas grabbed Amanda’s hand and got down on one knee. “As he opened the box, Nicholas expressed how much he loved me and how long he has been waiting for this moment,” shared Amanda. As tears of joy ran down her cheeks, Nicholas asked her to marry him. The newly engaged couple is planning their October 6, 2012 wedding at The Woodlands in Woodbury, New York.

Lisa and Anthony went to see the New York Knicks play at Madison Square Garden, but little did Lisa know that a night out routing for their basketball team would turn out to be a surprise of a lifetime. During halftime the camera crew pointed their equipment directly at the couple and next thing Lisa knew, “Here Comes the Bride” began to play. As she looked up, “Lisa, Will You Marry Me?” appeared on the big screen. “I was shaking as Anthony pulled out the ring and the crowd went crazy! It was the most perfect proposal for the both of us,” Lisa shared. The couple is currently planning their New Jersey wedding that will be held at Ariana’s Grand one year from today (October 13, 2012). Congratulations on your engagement!

Katie and Dan spent the weekend in Lavallette, New Jersey and while she had a feeling that her boyfriend was going to propose, she almost talked herself out of the idea of what was going to happen as the weekend went by. The two enjoyed meals, shopping, and even a long walk on a beach, but it wasn’t until after Katie was almost ready for dinner that Dan surprised her with a wedding proposal. As Katie entered the room, she was presented with a treasure chest that included gold coins, a pirate hat, a message rolled up, and a treasure map that marked the most important timelines of their relationship- where they first met, their first date, anniversaries, and of course a proposal. “Where the X marked the spot it read, Will you marry me?” Katie mentioned. As Dan got down on one knee with the ring box in hand, he asked her to marry him. The newly engaged New Jersey couple is excited to plan their March 23, 2013 wedding at The Palace at Somerset Park.

Fourth of July has always held a special place in Christie and Sean’s hearts, as they have spent the past several years, visiting family and friends at Sean’s family’s beach house in Ocean City, New Jersey. To Christie’s surprise, this year’s weekend vacation would mark an even more special occasion. As the couple was watching the fireworks, Sean asked Christie to marry him. “I loved the fact that he proposed with his whole family present. I really felt like I was becoming a member of their family,” shared Christie. The newly engaged couple is excited to begin planning for their Fall 2012 wedding.

Back in February, New York couple Jennifer and Joe shared not only their proposal story with us, but also their beautiful engagement pictures that were captured by Josh Lynn Photography. During their shoot at Giant's Stadium, the couple were also being filmed by Moving Pictures LLC for a fun and romantic engagement video. Jennifer and Joe are set to tie the knot on September 10, 2011 (9-10-11).
