Tips for a Perfect Honeymoon!

    • You are on your honeymoon and just about all the world loves a couple in love. Hotels, restaurants and even airlines are famous for spoiling honeymooners with freebies and upgrades, so be sure to tell everyone you're newlyweds!

    • Plan at least one, very special meal for the two of you to get dressed-up to wine and dine together

    • Consider a spa day for two with relaxing massages and decadent body treatments.

    • Bring along clothes that truly make you feel sexy and attractive. Surprise your mate with a new ensemble that will knock him out. A sexy new bikini or sexy sleepwear can make the moment.

    • Check with your travel agent and your hotel to be sure there are not loud or enormous events scheduled during your planned honeymoon period if you plan to relax.

    • Don't be shy about getting some extra hours of sleep in the arms of your honey, napping by the beach or lounging for hours on end by the pool. It's tempting to jump in and see all the sites right away, but take time to relax as well.

    • Be a savvy traveler and watch out for your things and each other as you travel in a new place. Don't trade romantic honeymoon days for hours of paperwork at a local police station.

    • Set a tentative budget. Talk about your expectations and priorities from the very beginning and decide what you might splurge on and where you might cut corners. All-inclusive resorts sometimes help to stay in budget.

    • Splurge on whatever accommodations you choose. No matter what type of package you choose, you will spend an enormous amount of time in your room. Make it special - make it unforgettable.

    • Obtain brochures and talk to travel agents about the possibilities.

    • Take time to research the weather of your possible destinations. The better you align your travel plans with the forecasts, the better will be be your forecast for romance!

    • Considering having your honeymoon as part of your registry and contact a honeymoon registry service for more information.

    • Don't plan to leave on your honeymoon immediately. The both of you will be extremely exhausted right after the wedding and you may want to have a bon-voyage brunch the next day with your new families. Wait a few days, open gifts, sleep in late, slow down and rest before you pack and take off on your honeymoon.

    • Try registering for your honeymoon. Your guests can purchase a room upgrade or a spa day for the two of you along with your package.

Niagara Falls: An Intimate Portrait
By John Grant and Ray Jones
A location that has mesmerized engaged couples, newlyweds, honeymooners, and other visitors for years is Niagara Falls. This book talks about how the falls have attracted visitors, its history, and its beauty. Attractions on both the Canadian and American sides of the falls are elaborated upon. Its rich history is also explained, such as how the Native Americans revered the falls, the dangerous stunts performed, and movies that were filmed there. In addition, couples' wedding and honeymoon experiences at Niagara Falls are also discussed. Young and older couples alike can say "I Do" with the amazing backdrop of "The Falls," the mist that arises, and sometimes even a rainbow! Whether you go for an adventurous wedding such as a ceremony right next to the falls, or opt for a traditional ceremony, Niagara Falls will make it even more romantic and magical.
